Robots!

Hello, parents, guardians and students at P.S. 132! This blog is here to show you what we’re up to in the technology lab. We have an exciting year of robotics, coding and more to look forward to! Each Tuesday I’m going to try and show you something new and exciting.

We began the year by building simple, remote-controlled robots using Zoob Movers. Zoob is a construction toy like Lego, but more flexible and able to be assembled in a variety of ways. We used it to create a diverse range of robots. Students were divided into teams and worked together collaboratively to create their robots before getting the chance to make them move with the remote control.
